School Transfer
Students finishing MYP 5 (Year 11 or Grade 10) signify their completion of the IB Middle Years Programme. EIS students will then transfer to other schools to complete their final years of high school. Several have successfully transferred from EIS to local Danish Gymnasiums where, too, they have successfully completed the International Baccalaureate’s two-year Diploma Programme in English or have completed one of the multiple education pathways (HTX, HHX, STX, HF) in the Danish system. Other students can just as easily move on from EIS to join IB programmes at other schools around the world. EIS graduates typically transfer to Esbjerg Gymnasium where students can continue their schooling in the two-year IBO Diploma Programme (DP).
EIS aims to create life-long learners who have the tools needed for a successful future as respectful and responsible citizens in local and global societies.
