Parent teacher association

About PTA

The Parent Teacher Association is a group of EIS parents working together with teachers to

  • Provide social and fundraising support to the school by means of events, projects, programs and donations.
  • Support the goals, objectives and procedures of the EIS Board of Trustees.
  • Act as a non-profit, non-political and non-partisan organization.

Development

All parents with a child enrolled at EIS are automatic members of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Our PTA has been responsible for much school development. Without the PTAs fundraising and support, EIS would not have many of the resources that have gone towards the development of student learning. Learn more about the PTA by reading the Parent Teacher Association Handbook or by contacting us pta@eis.school

Volunteer opportunities

Get involved: The PTA only works through the involvement of parent and teacher volunteers. The PTA has a range of programs and committees, from which parents and teachers can choose to join, share their talents, give their time and help contribute to a positive environment at EIS.

The PTA always appreciates new volunteers whether to help out with an event for a few hours, being a class representative or to chair a committee during the school year. If you would like to become more active in the Parent Teacher Association, please download the Volunteer Information Form or contact anyone in the PTA.

Newcomers

Welcome information: The Parent Teacher Association welcomes all new families to EIS throughout the year. We offer help with settling into school and Esbjerg by sharing information in the Your Relocation Guide to Esbjerg and hosting coffee gatherings.

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) budgeting year goes from 1st July to 30th June. We depend 100% from parents contributions to achieve our goals. Click image to view Finance details.

Events and activities

The PTA Executive looks forward to meeting you at one of the many PTA events this year. The Parent Teacher Association holds meetings once a month; the dates and location are published on the school website calendar. It is here that upcoming events are coordinated and where ideas and suggestions may be proposed. The meetings are open to all parents and teachers.
